My parents have told me that I'm a naturally inquisitive George, and I agree. For a long time, I've been fascinated with crystals. On a personal level, last year was a disaster for me. I was in the middle of a hurricane, an existential struggle, and had reached a glass ceiling in my profession, believing there was nothing left to discover. When you spend your whole life wanting something, you want to strive for that goal. I wanted something to make me content and optimistic. For the first ten years of my career, nothing changed, but then I started asking questions. It is difficult to change professions later in life, but it is not unlikely. It is difficult enough to fight an unforgiving machine that is rigged in favor of the rich. Is it true that I am a materialistic person? Is this how I want my future to be? I was swift to respond with a resounding 'no.'

I came across Love Yourself Apothecary, a friend's Instagram username, while browsing through Instagram and found she was trying to cure people. I realized I wanted to see her, so I went in with an open mind, and it really helped me find my way out of my gloom. Along the way, I dealt with my anxiety problems. She gave me a Rose Quartz to hold my heart open. And a Citrine to assist me in welcoming abundance into my life. Since then, I've had a sense of abundance and peace that I can't describe. Still, in order to delve further, I asked two crystal experts to teach us what they knew.

Healing Crystals had been a part of my life on and off since childhood, before I became interested in the mineral world about a decade ago. Since seeing them on an energetic level and seeing the amazing changes they brought about in my own life, I felt inspired to share their healing abilities with the rest of the world. My mission is to raise awareness about the life-changing, medicinal, and mystical properties of crystals. Any home should have at least one crystal,” and the final nudge came from a divine insight to spread the message of their life. This is the most interesting work I've ever done since it arose from a profound passion and resonance for the crystal universe. Participating in hundreds of inquiries further reinforces my confidence in the One Consciousness that we are all part of.

I'm a crystal healer and past life regression specialist based in Mumbai. My relationship with crystals began in 2010, when I was researching and working in London. As a lover of all things esoteric and mystic, I happened to wander into a philosophical bookstore and, after buying a few books, the lady behind the counter so kindly gave me a little purple crystal tumble (Amethyst) to hold. That night, I wanted to keep it by my pillow, and the next thing I knew, I was hearing a lady's voice inside my mind, attempting to communicate with me. I freaked out and began researching crystals, learning that they vibrate at a high level and can interact with you as well as cure you. I began reading about crystals and gathering them as a result of the little Amethyst tumble. I quickly began working with them and discovered that they really perform very well on both the mental and physical bodies. And I haven't looked back yet.

Before delving into the realm of crystals, bear the following points in mind:

#1. What exactly are crystals?

Shabnam: They are essentially mineral atoms and molecules that have solidified into a strongly ordered form. They shape over hundreds of years and are contained in the Earth's crust. They are often regarded as a Heavenly Gift to humanity. Each crystal has a metaphysical identity, an attribute that can aid in the healing of other living beings.

Shikha: Crystals are naturally occurring rocks found on Mother Earth. In comparison to our 3D universe, they vibrate at a very high frequency (5D). They are linked to our body's seven chakras and thus have the ability to heal both our physical and emotional bodies.

#2. How do you pick the crystals stones?

Shabnam: When you are attracted to a certain crystal, you can choose it by instant attraction. They can also be selected by defining the existing priorities and a desire to improve and boost those fields. For example, strengthening partnerships, job prospects, and so on. They engage with the consumer energetically by raising frequencies to attune to the crystal's pure and flawless energy levels. This, in fact, will result in an increase in the necessary area. Every crystal has consciousness and requires tender loving care. They will always be our mates.

Shikha: Well, we were chosen by the crystals. Holding a few crystals in your hand is the easiest way to choose one, and you will undoubtedly be drawn to one in particular. You'll keep coming back to it no matter what. When you hold the stone, you may experience a tingling sensation in your hands, a humming energy in your back, a sense of lightheadedness or a shiver flowing through your whole body, or you may even start weeping. There are indications that the body needs the specific crystal to heal and that the crystal is interacting with you both physically and emotionally.

#3. How can it help me, and how do I apply it?

Shabnam: Crystals perform well when applied to the body and can be used in yoga, held in your bag, under your pillow when sleeping, or as wearable jewelry. They must be present in your energy field to be able to work their magic! Large natural crystals, such as geodes and clusters, can be stored at home to keep the energetic atmosphere clear. Spaces also make use of shaped objects such as circles, pumps, and towers. Smaller natural stones, jewelry, tumbles, and spheres will suffice for personal use.

Shikha: Since crystals vibrate on a higher level, they can only work through love and light. They have no negative side effects or reactions to them. They will help you in amazing ways. For example, if you are going through a break-up or need to restore your heart, you can communicate with the heart chakra and use crystals such as Rose Quartz, Rhodonite, or Kunzite. These are potent heart crystals that aid in the healing of the heart and the release of any internal pain that has been lodged there. If you suffer from anxiety, crystals such as Lepidolite and Amethyst will help you expel it from your body. The easiest way to deal with them is to keep them under your pillow at night, since they can work on your auric field and interact with you by visions, astral travel, and other means. Speak to them, meditate with them. Talking to your crystals is an excellent way to interact with them and it creates a connection between you and your crystal.

#4. How do you take care of your healing crystal?

Sunlight, but not overt sunlight, Shabnam. They can be mounted on a window sill or in a brightly lit section of your home. Moonlight: To cleanse and recharge your crystals, soak them in water for a couple of hours before leaving them out in the moonlight. Cause the fragrant smoke of incense to wash over the crystals many times. Candlelight: the light and heat generated by the candle flame will help to clean the crystal of absorbed energies. Immerse in water overnight or for a few hours during the day for a cleaning bath. Sound: rings, bowls, tuning forks, Om chanting—all of these aid in dissipating dense energy that a crystal may have consumed. Soil: Burying crystals in soil for a few hours is also an excellent process. Visualization: Visualize an emerald green luminous light approaching and clearing the crystal.

Clusters and Selenite plates are also useful for cleansing. Intentional breathing: you should recite Om or some other Mantra while softly blowing over your crystals. Physical Contact: Softly brush your hands over the crystal with the purpose of dispelling any dense, harmful energies that it has absorbed. We're not huge lovers of sea salt. It can be harmful to the crystal over time, however it is widely used, and you can as well if you are compelled to do so. Taking tender, timely care of your crystals is beneficial to your own healing process, improving your frequencies as you engage with them more and more.

Shikha: Since crystals come from Mother Earth, the only way to cleanse or care for them is to use the four natural elements, including Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. You can cleanse them under running water, pass them around a candle flame, incense stick, or sage leaves, or hold them in a potted plant for some Earth energy. Crystals adore Full Moons and, in particular, thunderstorms. Between Full Moons, I put all of my crystals on the balcony to charge and electrify them.

#5 Which crystal should be stored at home and which should be worn?

Geodes, tumbles, rings, and raw crystals in large sizes are suitable for the homeroom, according to Shabnam. Smaller dots, cabochons, and raw crystals may be used to make jewelry.

Shikha: Both crystals may be worn or stored in the home. Crystal in the shape of bracelets, pendants, and tumbles are nice to wear or carry in your pocket so they need to be close to your physical body in order to operate on you.

In relation to the house: Larger chunks, such as clusters, large raw bits, or Geodes, perform wonders. Since our homes are large, larger crystals are required to transfer the energies of your room. If you find there is a lot of negativity in your room or if there are a lot of conflicts in your home, crystals like Black Tourmaline and Selenite are great to have around. Black Tourmaline cleanses areas of negativity, and Selenite transforms the energy into flame consciousness. They build a highly effective defense grid for your room.

a) Abundance:

Shabnam: Golden Pyrite, Malachite, and Citrine are excellent for attracting the energies of abundance.

Shikha: Citrine, Pyrite, and Green Aventurine perform wonders for wealth, growth, and taking more opportunities into the room because they bind to the solar plexus chakra.

b) Personal relationships:

Shabnam: Rose Quartz, Rhodochrosite, and Rhodonite are believed to nurture affection, both for others and for oneself, forging close bonds and soothing emotions.

Shikha: Rose Quartz, Kunzite, Rhodonite, and Rhodocrosite are excellent for heart healing and attracting affection.

c) Overall health:

Shabnam: Clear Quartz is a master crystal that can boost energy levels. Amethyst is also another master crystal that can provide rest and comfort as well as increased sensitivity.

Shikha: Selenite is beneficial since it protects the aura and provides a flame barrier around the body.

• Emotional balance, peace of mind for de-stressing, and an appetite boost:

Blue Lace Agate for soothing negative designs, Rose Quartz and Amethyst for harmony and de-stressing, Shabnam.

Shikha: Lepidolite, Howlite, Carnelian, Jade, and Amethyst are all good crystals for balancing and healing feelings, as well as boosting imagination and powers.

I hope this was helpful in selecting a crystal that is appropriate for your needs. If you have any more questions, you can contact these lovely ladies via their Instagram handles, which I have mentioned. If you do use a crystal, please let me know in the comments.
